As part of the project in Lausanne, a design application of the WETRAFFIC thin-film color system was implemented aimed at revitalizing the public space and increasing the visual attractiveness of pedestrian traffic.
The coloured area is led longitudinally through the street space and creates a distinctive orientation and aesthetic element that naturally complements the urban environment and supports its identity.
The application is made up of a multi-colored graphic theme composed of organic shapes and contrasting color surfaces. The combination of colors and structures creates a dynamic visual effect that responds to the movement of pedestrians as well as the perspective of the street space.
Implementations included:
The project demonstrates the possibilities of using WETRAFFIC system outside of conventional transport applications.
Benefits of implementation:
At the same time, color communication increases the readability of the space and contributes to a more pleasant user perception of the urban environment.
The project in Lausanne demonstrates that WETRAFFIC technology can combine high functional surface parameters with architectural and artistic solutions of public areas.
The result is a durable, anti-skid and long-lasting color application that performs both a practical and aesthetic function.
