The main purpose was to:
Emphasis was placed on functional as well as aesthetic incorporation of colored surfaces into the environment of the capital.
Samples were realized by applying WETRAFFIC system to prepared wooden boards, which served as presentation and comparison basis.
The preparation included:
This form allowed for easy manipulation, presentation and long-term assessment.
Color variants were assessed in natural daylight, which best simulates real traffic conditions.

Based on this assessment, the preferred shade was selected for further project preparation.
Sampling for the Prague Institute of Planning and Development represents an important step in the conceptual selection of colour surfaces for urban infrastructure.
The project confirms the importance of physical samples in deciding the shape of traffic areas and contributes to the systematic development of visually and functionally quality solutions in the capital's environment.
