In cooperation with the Directorate of Roads and Highways, a test section of the WETRAFFIC thin-film colour system was carried out at the Kámen Airport test polygon. The aim was to verify the anti-skid properties of the system in conditions simulating real road traffic.
The test area was designed to allow objective measurement of surface adhesion parameters in standardized test procedures used for roadway evaluation.

The main purpose of the implementation was:
Testing was carried out in professional collaboration with the Directorate of Roads and Highways at a dedicated test site.
Measurement of anti-shear properties was carried out using National Reference Vehicleused for certified testing of adhesion parameters of roadways.
The test was conducted under defined conditions according to valid methodologies for evaluation of surface treatment of roads, while the values of shear friction between the tire and the surface were monitored.
The measured values showed that the WETRAFFIC thin film system applied meets the requirements for anti-skid properties for road traffic.
The test results confirm:
The test section on the Kámen Airport polygon is an important reference and validation base for further use of WETRAFFIC on roads.
